What is Sapphire FUE Hair Transplantation?
In the Follicular Unit Extraction, or FUE Hair Transplantation Technique, with its short name, active hair follicles are taken one by one under regional anesthesia with a device called micro-motor. These grafts are then placed in the balding area in the new canals opened with a Sapphire tipped medical pen at an angle and direction that will not lose their natural appearance. This method, which is frequently preferred because it is not a surgical operation, is known as the most preferred hair transplant operation in the world.
This technique is unlike the other FUE method, since the hair follicles are taken with smaller incisions, the post-operative crusting is reduced. Therefore, the healing process is much faster. The person who has a hair transplant can return to his normal life the day after the application.
How to Apply?
After the patient is anesthetized, grafts are taken from the donor area with their roots by a medical equipment called micro-motor. These collected grafts are transplanted into new channels opened with a Sapphire tipped medical pen. The margin of error is extremely low with this pen, and the planting angle, direction and density of hair follicles give more successful results.
The sapphire tip used in this application causes less damage to the skin. This shortens the healing process. Since the channels opened are at a micro level, there is almost no bleeding. Again, the risk of infection that may occur due to the size of the canals is the lowest among all transplantation methods.
These tips used in the sapphire technique are sterile and disposable.
In the Sapphire FUE technique, except for traditional methods, hair follicles are not taken as a whole. The roots that are collected one by one are placed in the micro canals in the same way, resulting in a more natural appearance.
However, since it makes the transplantation process shorter, the whole process is completed in a single session.
